Services

Dr. Annaliesa’s approach to patient visits combines chiropractic, nutrition, muscle work, functional movements, applied kinesiology, and other modalities if needed. Below are descriptions of her approaches within the various overarching categories. Pricing includes all modalities that are determined to be needed.

Initial Visit | 60 mins | $120

Follow-Up Visits | 20-25 mins | $60

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is focused on removing interferences from your nervous system to restore proper function. While modalities within chiropractic can be found depicted in artwork as far back as ancient Egypt, chiropractic has been an official profession since 1895. Dr. Annaliesa’s approach is to use low force, tonal techniques to address the symptoms her patients present with. She also incorporates things like myofascial work, acupressure points, and red light therapy, among other modalities, depending on what the patient presents with.

Pelvic Floor Therapy

Pelvic floor dysfunction is not just a postpartum or female issue. Everyone has a pelvic floor; active runners and weight lifters are some of the most vulnerable populations for dysfunction in this area.

Dr. Annaliesa has studied pelvic floor under Dr. David Juehring, DC, at the Palmer clinics and completed Pelvic Gorgeous, a course by Dr. Erika Boland, DC, CPM, LM -- diving into all things pelvic floor! Dr. Annaliesa’s approach combines breath work with functional movement progressions, based on DNS. Pelvic floor dysfunction is a factor in jaw pain, low back pain, sleep issues, and many other concerns. Due to the prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunction, this is incorporated as needed into every patient care visit and included in the cost of a regular appointment.

If you need more concentrated time with this or want to come in only for pelvic floor therapy, reach out and we can figure out pricing and timeframe needed.

Nutrition

This is incorporated into every new patient visit and follow-up visits as needed.

Hippocrates stated: “Let food be thy medicine and medicine thy food.” At Ancient Paths we strive to teach patients the importance of what goes into our bodies. Dr. Annaliesa discusses nutrition routinely, and is very open to diving deeper, if you’re interested!

Applied Kinesiology & Supplementation

There are multiple ways to get information from the body. One of those is muscle testing, also known as applied kinesiology (AK). Dr. Annaliesa has been trained in a variety of AK approaches and blends them for analysis and supplement recommendations. Her goal is to work with nutrition and lifestyle choices first, then add in homeopathic and whole food supplementation as needed. She has also spent time acquiring additional information and skills from Dr. Hart Peterson (N.D.; Austin, TX) and Dr. Derik Sanders (D.C.; Marble Falls, TX).

If pricing is keeping you from care, please reach out and we will figure something out!
